    Heartland Artists Gallery

    Comment on Facebook

Heartland Artists, Inc. is an organization open to artists and those interested in the visual arts in Marshall County and surrounding areas. This not-for-profit group is dedicated to promoting multi-media visual art forms and encouraging mutual support of local artists both broadening our knowledge through learning and sharing and building an artistic link with the community.

Services are offered in planning arts events, commissioned works, demonstrations, teaching art of all kinds, and in educational presentations to schools and community organizations, and exhibitions. The gallery always offers works for sale. Be sure to visit our website link below for a calendar of the various activities.

Fees: The membership dues are $20 per person and $10 for each additional family member per year. New members are always welcome! Heartland's share of sold works for members is 20% and 30% for non-members.

Visitor Information: Hours of operation are Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. The Heartland Artists Gallery is located on the south side of downtown Plymouth just after the bridge if coming in from south Highway 17 and just before the bridge if approaching from north Highway 17. The gallery, operated by volunteer Heartland Artists, has three distinct sections: The featured artist gallery, the member gallery and the gift shop. The art inside is mainly, but not restricted to watercolors, oils, acrylics, photography, enameling and Polish paper cutting. There is plenty of one-of-a-kind jewelry: enamel on copper, silver and gold wire-wrapped dichroic glass, art glass pendants, polymer clay and gourd jewelry. There is a new featured artist exhibit each month, as well as special events throughout the year: the juried Photography show in April, the traveling Hoosier Salon Show in September, the juried regional Heartland Exhibit in October, the Holiday Gift Shoppe in November and December.
