St. Matthew Cathedral Parish is a welcoming Roman Catholic church in South Bend, Indiana serving as the co-cathedral for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend under Bishop John M. D'Arcy. We are rooted in worship of the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit, through honoring the Eucharist in Holy Mass. As we open our hearts to growth in holiness we in turn reach out in charitable service to the poor.

      Vesper Chorale Premiers Jorge Muniz's Stabat Mater St. Matthew Cathedral Vesper Chorale Premiers Jorge Muniz's Stabat Mater Presented by Vesper Chorale at St. Matthew Cathedral March 25, 2012 Our Diverse Journeys concert series continues with a event featuring the world premier of Stabat Mater by Spanish composer Jorge Muniz. Mr. Muniz’s compositions have been performed and recorded around the world, and we are honored to be the first to present this powerful work. We welcome the Spanish-speaking community to this concert. A pre-concert lecture by the composer will precede the event at 2:30.
