Fernwood Botanical Garden

Fernwood is a special place where people, plants, and wildlife come together. Eight acres of beautiful gardens are tucked into a scenic valley along the St. Joseph River, completely surrounded by forest. There are miles of trails to explore. Indoors, visitors enjoy the nature center, fern conservatory, café, gift shop, and art gallery. Fernwood offers many possibilities for learning and enrichment, including concerts, classes, trips, exhibits, and special events.

      Sculpture Fernwood Fernwood Botanical Garden Sculpture Fernwood Presented by Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve at Fernwood Botanical Garden June 19, 2011-September 2, 2013 Sculpture Fernwood brings togeher beautiful gardens and beautiful art. This exciting outdoor sculpture exhibit features works from ten artists: Phillip Shore, Fritz Olsen, Richard Hunt, Dora Natella, Garrett Krueger, Cambid J-Choy, Fredrick Prescott, Barry Tinsley, William Kremer and Austin Collins, Professor of Sculpture at Notre Dame who also curated the exhibit.
