St. Patrick's County Park

St. Patrick's Park is located on Laurel Road, north of Auten, in South Bend. There are 293 acres with wooded trails, ponds and St. Joseph River frontage. Unique features include the Red Barn, considered one of the largest wooden barns in the county. The Robert J. Fischgrund Center for the Performing Arts is the home of Blues & Ribs Fest and other events in warm weather months. Activities available include hiking, picnic sites (many are reservable), canoe rentals, winter innertubing, cross country ski trails and rentals, and playground equipment.
