Bristol Hills Storytelling Festival
The Northern Indiana Storytelling Guild (NISG) sponsors the Festival. The Northern Indiana Storytelling Guild was founded in 1985. The Guild was very active, meeting monthly and sponsoring public performances, until 1995. The Guild has included storytellers, writers, librarians, teachers, ministers, listeners, and readers. Now meetings, about six per year, are largely used to plan and manage the Bristol Hills Storytelling Festival that includes Performances and School Out-Reach. The Mission Statement for the Northern Indiana Storytelling Guild is: “The Northern Storytelling Guild strives to preserve, foster, and enhance the art of storytelling through education and performance.”
