Conservatory of Dance

Conservatory of Dance Company, Inc. is a not for profit vibrant student company with local dancers and guest artists that truly enjoy bringing dance to the community. The Conservatory of Dance performs in two public performances each year. A few Company favorites are Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Repertoire programs where the dancers display their versatility by performing several dances in a variety of styles. Additionally the dancers perform at many other community events such as Artbeat, Mishawaka Summer Fest, collaborations with the South Bend Symphony, and various productions for the South Bend Community Schools and local assisted living centers. Associated with Conservatory of Dance Company, Inc. is the Conservatory of Dance School. The Conservatory of Dance is dedicated to teaching the art form of dance in an uplifting creative environment. The teaching staff strives to bring out each child’s potential and nurturing the uniqueness and self-esteem of the individual. To help the dancers develop their artistic talent and master their technique, the Conservatory of Dance is passionate about providing the finest training availble in ballet, creative movement, jazz, modern, pointe, pom pons, and tap.

An age old fairy tale that features the beautiful Princess Aurora, magical spells, and fairies from the enchanted kingdom. The repertory program features the talents of our strongest dancers. Conservatory of Dance will also debut exciting contemporary dance and jazz works by local choreographers.

      A true joy to watch! The girls performed their hearts out to the cultural sounds of the world. The costumes were just fantastic. The music, a delight! The whole performance was just wonderful.
