Southold Dance Theater

Southold Dance Theater (SDT) is a regional training company dedicated to dance excellence. SDT is the only dance organization in the region to offer a pre-professional track of study for the serious dance student. Under the direction of the professional staff, dancers strive to achieve mastery of technique and performance. Many dancers successfully audition for some of the nation's most prestigious dance institutions. Several have gone on to professional dance careers.

      Yes! i saw that! i think the little brown haired girl is the best! But Leah Mcfadden is very good too. Very nice performance! Bravo southold!

      Well, i thought she was good, but not as good as the other little ones. Leah Mcfadden is her name. She could go pretty far though.

      i agree. not a good choice for a lead. there were two better ones on the sides. and they were very small.

      The Southold dance theater production of swan lake was EXCELLENT!! i noticed that the lead in one of the country dances was Clara in the nutcracker! I don't mean to make a fuss or anything but i don't... Expand

I don't mean to make a fuss or anything but i don't think that was a good choice. There were tiny girls that were better than her. But the performance was great! Collapse

      I agree! I take my daughter's to southolds 'Nutcracker' every year, and i think they are better than ANY ballet company I've seen!! I have noticed that the instructor, Erica Fischbach has let younger... Expand

I have noticed that the instructor, Erica Fischbach has let younger kids into the productions! I am considering southold for my daughters maybe this fall if were not too busy with other things!       This was a great way to start the holidays. I brought my 4 year old daughter who loved making a crown and being able to talk to the dancers at the end of the event.
