August 27-September 5, 2010
Add Review/Comment
Osceola Community Theatre proudly announces its next production. August 27 marks the opening of the Mid-West premier of the outrageously funny musical comedy, Small Talk. Patrons who would like to meet the author of this new and exciting musical are encouraged to attend the Saturday evening performance August 28, where he and his wife will be in attendance all the way from New York. The story revolves around a Cafe owner, played by OCT comedic veteran, Larry Hegg, who is hosting a party for an internet dating club. The laughter ensues when couples meet, others break up and everyone's lives are touched by those around them. No one's life will be the same after this shindig! The cast includes National Country Music Recording Artist, Michael Harding; his father, Gene Harding; and his duet partner, Sheilia Dolph. Many other OCT favorites appear in this production also, along with many new faces as well. Small Talk runs two weekends, August 27-29 and September 3-5. Show Times are 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:00pm on Sundays. Doors open 30 minutes before show time. Tickets are $12 for adult evening performances and $10 for the Sunday Matinees. Tickets for children 12 and under are only $8 for any performance. Tickets can be purchased in the box office located in the Faith Worship Center at 311 S. Apple Road in Osceola Monday-Thursday 9am - 9pm or on line at www.osceolatheatre.com. Questions can be answered by calling 574-226-3888.
