Spalding serves up jazz shows that aren’t for the weak. From her stunning physical presence to her ferocious bass thumping, Esperanza (which translates to "hope"), cuts loose and sets free jazz for the inspired. Armed with uncanny instrumental chops, a siren voice that spans three languages, and composing and arranging skills that weave together the best of old-school and with the progressive, this 20-something musical prodigy is taking a completely fresh and refreshing approach to jazz. Chamber Music Society is Spalding's August 2010 release.
