Enjoy some great jazz music by Bryan Lubeck, David Wells and the Jim Pickley Trio while rising money to help fund the work of Children of Abraham!

Children of Abraham: In 2003, a few community members in Northwest Indiana began discussing how to better understand each other by defining common goals and helping others globally. Children of Abraham, Inc., a 100% volunteer-driven nonprofit organization, was formed in 2004 with the principal mission of helping relieve suffering around the world by providing free medical supplies and equipment to medically underserved countries.

"Our organization wanted to set an example that through local efforts, we can help others and around the world. And through this united effort, we come closer together as a community and build a greater understanding among Christians, Muslims and other faiths right here at home."

Children of Abraham is supported by the North District United Methodist Church, St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and the Northwest Indiana Islamic Center. They have already sent four shipments of supplies to Haiti and are working on a fifth.

Bryan Lubeck: The striking and sensitive ballads coupled with the exciting flamenco styles from his critically acclaimed 2004 album, “Acoustic Vineyard,” proved to a new generation of music lovers that the contemporary elegance of spanish guitar is more powerful today than ever before when combined with the grooves of his Latin and urban band.

Lubeck is a featured artist for trend setter and powerhouse radio giant WNUA 95.5, Chicago, bringing his sizzling contemporary Latin guitar genius to headline at the 2005 summer Chill series, and back again in 2006. Lubeck has shared the stage with artists such as Craig Chaquico, Richard Elliot, Mindi Abair, Brian Culbertson, Euge Groove and Eric Darius. "Lubeck gets our vote for the best contemporary Latin style guitarist in his class", Smooth Jazz At South Shore. Lubeck was recently profiled in Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine with jazz icon, Earl Klugh. This comes as no surprise. "As we see his agile fingers dance across the guitar strings, creating his own style of funk and fury, it is with utter amazement that Lubeck’s Godin Guitar doesn’t catch fire." - Bernie Scott, Producer/Smooth Jazz At Southshore.

David Wells, a gifted Flugelhorn / Trumpet player from a small town in West Virginia has been living his dream of a career in music.
