Did you know that the boy next door is writing love poems and tacking them to the trees in his backyard? Or that your daughter's high school teacher is actually the king of England? Or even that the woman who helps you check out your library books is desperately in love with a local duke named Orsino?

You’ll find delight in each performance of ShakeScenes, where local grade schoolers, high school students, and other members of the community take to the stage. Together they present an assortment of short scenes taken from the works of Shakespeare. You’ll see 10 different scenes at each performance and more than 100 of your colleagues, friends, and neighbors on stage as we celebrate the many works of Shakespeare in just one weekend!

Join us and find out why ShakeScenes, year after year, is one of our most popular and inspiring events.
