    Instructor: Heather Murray. Beginning students are welcome to this class of clay exploration. Students will learn basic ceramic skills, such as handbuilding techniques, mastering throwing on the wheel, and decoration and glazing techniques. Students will be encouraged to experiment and challenge themselves in order to create scintillating ceramic works. One 25-lb. bag of clay included. Class fee for all Ceramics classes includes glaze and firings in keeping with average student production. Students generating work in great excess of the average may be subject to an additional firing fee.
