    SESSION 1: June 14 - 18, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Instructor: Kari Black.

This class is designed for young people and encourages creativity in all projects. Students will learn handbuilding techniques and how to use the potter's wheel as they work at their own speed. Demonstrations and project ideas will be given as the world of clay is explored. Clay, glazes and firing are included in the lab fee. Each class will meet Monday through Wednesday, will have Thursday off to allow for the clay to dry, and then meet again on Friday for glazing. Work will be available for pick up after glaze firing the following Friday.
