“Shakespeare in the park! The Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival’s traveling Young Company presents The Taming of the Shrew free of charge at Stevensville, Michigan’s Lincoln Township Library on the township lawn on Sunday July 18th at 7:00pm.

The Young Company, comprised of gifted college students from Notre Dame and universities from across the nation, presents this hour-long comedy perfect for a fun and free family night out. The story of a shrewish daughter “tamed” by a boorish gold-digger, Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew is an hilarious exploration of the trials of courtship, the power of love, and the troublesome idea of obedience.

Access to the park and the performance are both free of charge, so come enjoy a delightful summer evening with the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival!”
