    Artpost Gallery will be celebrating National Poetry Month by holding a Poetry Marathon starting Friday, April 9th at 5:00 pm and continuing Saturday until 5 pm.

    A variety of poets from the Michiana area will be reading in 15 minute slots for 24 hours at Artpost's first ever poetry marathon. The event will include performances of new work, collaborations and experiments.

    Catering by Fiddler's Hearth, including breakfast from 8-10 am Saturday. Poets who are interested in taking part can contact Jake Webster or Kay Westhues at Artpost, 574-287-6293, or email info@artpostblog.com. This event is open to the public, and there is a $5 suggested donation at the door.

    Artpost will also have two exhibits on display: "David Ebbinghouse, Small Sculptures", and "Javaughn Renee, War Chest: Tools of War and Peace." Artpost hours are Thursday-Saturday noon - 8 pm, and Sunday noon - 4 pm. For more information, see www.artpostblog.com, or call 574-287-6293.
