    Notre Dame’s Joyelle McSweeney and Johannes Goransson will host a panel on the legacy of modernism on small press publishing. The panel will also include: Matvei Yankelevish, founder of Ugly Duckling Press and translator and editor of Today I Wrote Nothing: The Selected Writings of Daniil Kharms (Overlook, 2007), and co-translator of Oberiu: An Anthology of Russian Absurdism (Northwestern, 2006); and Sandra Doller, co-founder of 1913 press, author of Oriflamme (2005), and professor at Cal State San Marcos.

    The panelists will discuss such topics as design, typography, collectivity, materials and media, manifestoes, and Futurism.
