    Sam Sheridan will read from his book A Fighter’s Heart: One Man’s Journey Through the World of Fighting>/em>, on the . In A Fighter’s Heart, Sam describes his experience as both journalist and participant in various forms of fighting all over the world, from muay Thai at the Fairtex gym in Bangkok; to Mixed Martial Arts in Iowa; to Olympic boxing in Oakland, California; to vale tudo with the Brazilian Top Team in Rio de Janerio; to the Pride Fighting Championship in Tokyo, Japan; to Tai chi in New York City; to dogfighting in Thailand; to stuntwork on a movie set in Hollywood. Along the way Sam attends the Wat Thaton meditation center in Thailand and gives an interview on The Daily Show. Come hear about these adventures from a skilled writer and fighter. In the words of five-time Ultimate Fighting Champion Pat Miletich, “After reading A Fighter’s Heart you’ll be sweating like you were there with Sam; you might even have blood trickling out of your nose.” Location: Third-floor Wiekamp Bridge
