Called a “cornucopia of remarkable voices” by The New York Times, Grammy Award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir out of South Africa will bring a taste of culture to Southwest Michigan as they celebrate the unique and inspirational power of African Gospel music blended with traditional hymns, Jamaican reggae, American pop and spiritually-themed secular songs. This 26-member touring group has several noted performances, including one for former South African President Nelson Mandela.
