    Northern Indiana Artists, Inc. (NIA), founded in 1942, is a non-profit organization of artists dedicated to the promotion of art. The NIA strives to raise the quality of work produced and the art standards of the community. NIA sponsors exhibits of members’ works and holds meetings for the mutual benefit gained through discussion, lectures, inspiration, scholarships and social contacts. NIA also awards scholarships to deserving and emerging artists.

    In its Annual Juried show, the NIA spotlights the work of its membership, which is composed of area artists who have passed an independent jury process to gain admittance as Active Members of NIA. This year’s show features 41 pieces, selected from 88 entries submitted by 51 member artists.
