From the creator of "Six Feet Under," the critically-acclaimed HBO series, and from the winner of the 1999 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for American Beauty, comes this irreverent, hilarious look at the intricacies of friendship. During an ostentatious wedding reception at a large Southern estate, five reluctant, identically-clad bridesmaids hide out in an upstairs bedroom—each with her own reason to avoid the proceedings going on below.
