Mind-expanding theatre at its best. Black, an African-American Christian, is an optimist, determined to "save" White and inspire him toward Jesus. White is a male Caucasian atheist, educated college professor, total pessimist, whose belief that life is such a bleak existence that we are better off dead leads him to leap off a train platform in front of The Sunset Limited. But he mysteriously ends up in the arms of Black, who takes White back to his apartment for a talk. And the debate begins.
