The South Bend Chamber Singers present Beautiful Music for the Season, featuring the world premiers of new works by American composers Robert A. Harris and J. David Moore along with favorite compositions from past concerts. Robert Harris' new work is a setting of a poem by Clay High School (South Bend, Ind.) student Krista Bladel, winner of the South Bend Chamber Singers poetry contest.

      For 20 years the South Bend Chamber Singers (SBCS) has presented a Christmas concert. The Church of the Loretto enhances the performance and many people leave feeling they had been blessed with the spirit of Christmas, particularly after the last candlelit Silent Night. The choir feels blessed with the number of people who come year after year to hear them sing familiar and unusual choral chamber music written specifically for Christmas and to hear the premieres of newly commissioned pieces.
