Riley B. King--better known as B.B. King -- has defined the blues for a worldwide audience for more than half a century. The “King of the Blues” and his guitar “Lucille” have thrilled audiences, influenced generations and given blues its place in American musical tradition. Since starting to record in the 1940s, B.B. KING has released over 50 albums, many of them classics. Today at age 81, B.B. King is still singing and playing the blues with relentless passion. Time has no apparent effect on B.B. King other than to make him more popular, more cherished and more relevant than ever.
