    CARLOS MENCIA -- BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Purchase your tickets early as his September 30, 2007, show at the Morris was sold out!

    Carlos Mencia one of the most popular comedians in the country, debuted on Comedy Central in early 2005 as “Mind of Mencia” which has become of the strongest shows in the network’s history. The show features his commentary on current events, man-in-the-street films, commercial parodies and audience interaction. Carlos has a no nonsense point of view and the ability to connect with a diverse audience by pointing out society’s hypocrisies and people’s inability to laugh at themselves with a style that is hilariously honest. In December 2007 Carlos embarked on his first USO Tour to the Persian Gulf where he entertained the troops serving overseas. He recently returned from his second trip to Kuwait after hosting “Operation Myspace.” Carlos has had two solo HBO Specials, one for which he won a CableACE Award nomination, and as host of “Funny Is Funny.” His additional television credits include “NBC’s Later,” “The Tonight Show,” “CNBC’s Dennis Miller,” “NBC’s Politically Incorrect w/ Bill Maher,” “HBO’s Loco Slam,” “Comic Relief VI” and “Comedy Central’s Comedy Showcase.”
