26th Annual Bonneyville Celebration

Enjoy a weekend filled with friends, food and good old family entertainment, at this year's Bonneyville Celebration, Saturday and Sunday, September 13 & 14. The mill valley will be filled with a variety of craftsmen, entertainment and antique agricultural equipment displays. The event takes place from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. both days at the historic park which is located 2.5 miles east of Bristol, IN on County Road 131, south of State Road 120. Potters, quilters and wood workers are just a few of the craftspeople that will be demonstrating their skills and selling their goods during the event. Area vendors will also offer a wide variety of vegetables and unique handmade specialty items for sale. A variety of local instrumentalists, vocalists, and dancers will take to the stage including the Goldmine Pickers, Drop the Dawg, Les & Gwen Gustafson Zook, Adam Carter Nafziger & Liza and Mark Woolever.

      I am the mother of four kids, and we have been going to Bonneyville Mill each September for the past 10+ years. We have never had bad weather, and we all have a great time, every time. Even though... Expand

      I am the mother of four kids, and we have been going to Bonneyville Mill each September for the past 10+ years. We have never had bad weather, and we all have a great time, every time. Even though my kids have gotten older, they still find plenty to amuse themselves. My husband loves the food, (homemade root beer, pork sandwiches),I love the cloggers, crafts, and dahlia beds; my youngest loves the horse-drawn wagons that ferry us down from the parking areas. We all enjoy the candle-dipping, wading in the creek, the rope bridge, the old-fashioned toys and stilts, panning for gold, visiting the mill and buying our cornmeal, buckwheat flour, and cracked wheat. Each time we buy our local honey for the year. We also enjoy the beautiful hiking trails throughout the park. Each year, we bring a guest/guests, and without fail, they start coming to Bonneyville each year too. It is now one of our end of summer rituals, and we meet friends there each year for the pancake breakfast. Great! Collapse
