    The Creative Writing Programs presents a joint reading by Graham Foust and Catherine Wagner.

    Graham Foust is the author of three books of poems, most recently Necessary Stranger (Flood Editions, 2007). He lives in Oakland, California and directs the M.F.A. Program in Creative Writing at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, where he teaches in the graduate and undergraduate programs.

    Catherine Wagner was born in Burma (Myanmar) and grew up in Baltimore. Her books include Macular Hole (Fence, 2004), Miss America (Fence, 2001) and many chapbooks, recently including Everyone in the Room is a Representative of the World at Large (Bonfire Press, 2007), Hole in the Ground (Slack Buddha, 2008), and the forthcoming Bornt (Dusie, 2008). She edited and introduced a selection of unpublished poems by Barbara Guest for the recent special triple issue of Chicago Review on Guest. With Rebecca Wolff, she edited Not for Mothers Only: Contemporary Poems on Child-Getting and Child-Rearing (Fence, 2007). Her work appears in anthologies including Gurlesque (Saturnalia, forthcoming 2010), The Best of Fence: The First Nine Years (Fence, 2008), State of the Union: An Anthology of Political Poems (Wave, 2008), and The Best American Erotic Poems (Scribner, 2008), among others. She lives in Ohio with her five-year-old son and teaches in the MA program in creative writing at Miami University in Ohio.
