Professor of Theory, Peter Smith, presents a music lecture that will be featured at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the Society for Music Theory in Baltimore Maryland. The lecture is entitled "Harmonies Heard from Afar: Tonal Pairing, Formal Design, and Cyclical Integration in Schumann's A-minor Violin Sonata, op. 105".
