This popular operetta is a witty and rollicking tale of a young man apprenticed to a band of pirates too kindhearted for their own good. But he ultimately manages to return to the right side of the law and win the girl of his dreams. The Pirates of Penzance remains one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most beloved and frequently revived works.
