Lee Greenwood
December 14, 2007
Add Review/CommentLee Greenwood’s powerful inspiring ballad “God Bless the USA” has been voted the most recognizable patriotic song in America. Lee has won two Male Vocalist of the Year awards from the Country Music Association and the CMA Song of the Year honor in 1985 for “God Bless the USA.” He won Top Male Vocal Performance in 1983 for “I.O.U.” His hits include such classics as “Ring on Her Finger, Time on Her Hands,” “It Turns Me Inside Out,” “Somebody’s Gonna Love You,” “I Don’t Mind the Thorns (If You’re the Rose),” “Ain’t No Trick,” “She’s Lying,” “Hearts Aren’t Made to Break (They’re Made to Love),” “You’ve Got a Good Love Comin’,” “Going, Going, Gone,” and “Dixie Road.” Lee will be singing Christmas songs and his greatest hits. This will be a very special concert with Lee Greenwood singing Christmas songs and his greatest hits. Tickets for the concert would make great holiday gifts! The concert is being promoted by Morris Entertainment, Inc., as an historical endowment fundraiser for the Morris Performing Arts Center. The endowment fund will assist with continued historic preservation of both the theater and Palais Royale ballroom after both underwent extensive restoration at a total cost of $24 million. You can help keep the Morris Performing Arts Center’s star shining!
