Every year in early December, the University of Notre Dame Chorale and Chamber Orchestra present Handel's Messiah. These popular performances of Handel's greatest oratorio, under the direction of Alexander Blachly, are traditionally sold-out events. From the stirring overture to the famous "Hallelujah Chorus," Handel's noble music continues to thrill audiences all over the world. The Notre Dame Chorale and Chamber Orchestra bring to the work a freshness and spirited delivery that enliven its powerful imagery.
