When Staind frontman Aaron Lewis hits the stage for his Have Guitar, Will Travel solo, acoustic tour, he will be stripped of the usual fanfare of rock. Armed with just his guitar, his songs and your requests, he’s bringing the concert experience back-to-basics. There’s no large-scale production to hide behind, smoke `n mirrors to distill the truth, or artificial gadgetry to enhance the sound. It’s just one man and his guitar, dissolving the barricade between artist and fan. The iconic singer/songwriter will roll out an unscripted evening of Staind hits along with an eclectic mix of cover songs, customizing each set on the spot, ensuring that no two shows will ever be alike. Staind has sold more than 15 million records worldwide to date, with its last three albums entering the Billboard 200 in the #1 spot. 2005’s Chapter V has been certified RIAA platinum and features the single “Right Here” which marks the group’s fourth #1 rock radio track. Staind's first-ever hits collection "The Singles: 1996-2006," was just released along with the simultaneous separate release of a companion DVD, "Staind: The Videos." The 16-track hits release features the #1 rock radio staples “It’s Been Awhile,” “For You,” “So Far Away,” and “Right Here,” along with never-before released live acoustic cover versions of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb,” Tool’s “Sober,” Alice In Chains’ “Nutshell,” and a live, acoustic version of “Everything Changes.” The version of “Outside” appearing on the hits collection is the original cut first included on the Family Values Tour 1999 compilation with Fred Durst.
