Hot Mulaba, formed from the creative brain cells of many, now rises to any musical occasion, entertaining America's kids of all ages. A friendly mix of music from Rock to Acoustic/Alternative to Country, Hot Mulaba tours the USA every summer to places ranging from New York to Wyoming. Hot Mulaba was formed by Derrik DeCraene in early 2003. When the time came to choose a name, everyone drew a blank. As they say, "from the mouths of babes come gems", then guitarist Greg Jones' son, Linden Jones, volunteered the name Hot Mulaba because "it sounded cool". In the first year, Hot Mulaba covered many miles doing shows large and small, then took some time off to record their first cd "My Mom Said I Could Spend the Night". After doing shows through the year of 2004, Hot Mulaba hit the studio again to record their 2nd cd, which will be released in late summer 2005.
