    Mr. Brown In Concert

    Mr. Brown In Concert

Mr Brown will be delivering a Texas sized serving of their Texas Reggae at the Constant Spring. The show will be a release party for their new album, Boderation. The band is on the forefront of Austin's emerging dub/reggae scene, coming forward with their own brand of "12 inch style," wherein the focus is on good, single based songwriting, and tunes are dubbed to infinity as appropriate at the live shows.

The 2009 Blue Friday was simply the best entertainment to be found in Michiana at the time! The Catman was accompanied by his perfect band, including Johnny B. Gayden doing a bombshell performance on that bass of his, with a harp solo at the end that shook the very skies with it's beautiful perfect intensity. Then P.T. and the boys took the stage and really wowed the crowd with an incredible display of musical prowess- the boys, simply, rocked. Then, big H stepped up, and the show was nothing short of a real life changing EVENT- the stars were in line, Armida had on the right earrings, H had his best Shirt, I don't know; everyone there was talking in the crowd- there was a presence, a spirit of the music that was strong as iron this night. The sound was a ten. The music was a ten. The value was a ten. The talent was a ten. The whole experience was priceless. This night serves as testament to the power of the Blues, and the celebration of our local perfect talent. Thanks, Blues Lovers. Collapse

Too many ukelele's and kazoo's for my taste. The drummer was pretty good though.

I don't think they "wow"'d the crowd at all. Most people weren't paying attention and the people that were paying attention could tell that it sounded like they were playing in a tin can. Next year they need to get a band that has a little more style and gets the crowd interested. Collapse
