Flintlock & Tomahawk is a Living History Encampment representing a rich blend of Common Folk of the 1750-1812 period, Hunting Pioneers, Farming Pioneers, British Military, American Military, Militia and other period impersonations. Entertainment will include a variety of period music, a period instrument making workshop and song fest. Collector Jeff Jaeger will be showing a display of early 19th century rifles manufactured by Indiana gunsmiths. Sutlers will have shops set up. This is a great family weekend event. This event is sponsored by the Elkhart County Historical Museum, Elkhart County Parks, Northeast Indiana Folk Music & Instrument Gathering, Inc., the Town of Bristol and the Elkhart County Historical Society.
