Southold Dance Theater presents Alexei Kremnev’s “The New Adventures of Pinocchio”. This highly acclaimed dance production celebrates the adventures of Pinocchio, the wooden boy carved out of a magic log. More than anything else, Geppetto’s mischievous wooden puppet wants to become a boy. The plot works its way through a number of unexpected twists and turns, as Pinocchio sells his schoolbook to buy theater tickets, gets cheated by the untrustworthy Cat and Fox, and discovers a Magic Door with a Magic Key. Critics have passionately praised this production as “…the most interesting and outstanding choreography in memory!”
