    Director of the Vatican Museums, Dr. Francesco Buranelli will deliver a lecture in the Annenberg Auditorium of the Snite Museum of Art at the University of Notre Dame. “The Vatican Museums: the Holy See’s Portal to the World” is the title of the annual Terrence R. Keeley Vatican Lecture, cosponsored by the Nanovic Institute for European Studies and the Snite Museum of Art. Dr. Buranelli and his staff are responsible for the restoration and promotion of all art of the Holy See, including architecture as well as moveable works in the galleries. Buranelli also represents the Vatican in international preservation and restoration conferences and organizes traveling exhibitions.
