Celtic Woman
April 12, 2007
Celtic Woman is the realization of a dream for composer and musical director, David Downes and show producer, Sharon Browne. Together with Executive Producer Dave Kavanagh, they created Celtic Woman to launch the very special talents of four Irish female vocalists, Chloe, Lisa, Meav, Orla, and a very exciting fiddle player Mairead. The group is led by David Downes, a prodigious young Irish talent, who has previously worked as musical director of Riverdance. Celtic Woman portrays the unique voices and styles of each of the girls as soloists as well as fantastic ensemble numbers. Performing beautiful and much-loved songs, Celtic Woman features unique renditions of Irish songs such as: "Danny Boy," timeless classics like "Ave Maria", contemporary songs such as Enya's "Orinoco Flow" and Clannad's "Harry's Game", and a host of spellbinding original songs created by David Downes. Celtic Woman 2005 CD has been certified gold and the DVD has been certified platinum and has also been No. 1 in the Billboard World Music Chart for over 60 weeks.

I did not like story at all it is like the last 10 plays I thought that it might have been different. Same story plot a troubled girl that ignores her mother. I think that he thinks that he no longer has to have a attract an audience just put the name Tyler Perry on it and sell it. Only one funny character the landlord. I payed $30 and it was not worth it maybe $20 I would have been pissed if it was $50. Collapse

Theatre of Death was great; and that's saying a lot by a teen who is not in to rock. I'm glad i tried it out. Collapse

Have only been to two concerts in my life that the crowd stood from beginning to end - both were Alice cooper. Have seen him 4 times and this was the best. The band worked very hard with no brakes from song to song. Alice could have not done any better himself; age was no factor. The set was refreshing and the energy never-ending. I took my kids who knew nothing of him , they were amazed. The stage was 3 dimensional and we saw Alice get his head chopped off , hung, killed by injection , and ran through in the sword chamber (well it was the theater of death). Thanks to Alice and the band for a memorable show. I rate 4.5 only because B.O.C. had a couple of fill in members. One being Rudy Sarzo on bass. The musicians were awesome and the show was good but I have seen B.O.C play tighter. Buck Darhma is a riff master and worth going to see all by himself. I highly recommend this show , if you're not a fan you will be after seeing this one. Collapse

These guys look so old they could be the real Beatles parents. There is something extremely unsettling about guys (presumably) in their late fifties portraying guys in their early twenties. In their striving to be perfect recreations of Beatles songs they take any liveliness and fun out their performance. Dull, lifeless and downright creepy! Collapse
