Alternatingly hilarious and touching, Steel Magnolias is the story of six close-knit southern women who gab and gossip the hours away at Truvy's Beauty Salon, the unofficial hub of Chinquapin, Louisiana. The bond of friendship helps these women see each other through the best of times, and repair one another through the worst. These southern belles are flowery on the outside, but strong enough inside to survive any challenge.
