    Canadian violinist Marie Wang received a Bachelor's degree from McGill University and a Master's degree from Northern Illinois University. Her performance of the Berg Violin Concerto with the McGill Symphony Orchestra won critical acclaim and was subsequently broadcast on CBC Radio and Television. She has also played as a soloist with the Vancouver Academy Symphony and the McGill Sinfonietta. Her teachers include Donald Weilerstein and Mauricio Fuks. Marie is currently a violinist with the Avalon String Quartet.
