Mozart will meet American Idol in Saint Mary's College's opera scenes program. Students and community singers will perform four of the zaniest opera ensembles: Rusalka with woodsprites and mermaids, Magic Flute with serpents and goth girls, Cinderella and her wicked stepsisters, and The Impresario, staged as an American Idol audition. For true opera lovers, we'll offer the achingly beautiful trio from Rosenkavalier. Don't miss this hour and a half of laughter and fun--a kid-friendly production.
