Magnificat - A Holiday Concert

Vesper Chorale, along with the Vesper Chamber Orchestra and special guests, the Altar Choir of Grace United Methodist Church of Kokomo, presents a holiday concert entitled "Magnificat," featuring settings by J.S. Bach and Antonio Vivaldi, as well as Mozart's Vesperae Solennes de Confessore. Set to music by composers from medieval times to the present, the song of Mary from Luke 1 expresses both profound mystery and unspeakable joy. This advent season, Vesper Chorale offers two beloved settings from the early 18th Century. Additionally, they complete "the year of Mozart" with one of his most popular choral settings suitable for the season.
