Seventy years later, this comedy classic of the 1930s remains as relevant, witty, and engaging as ever. Elyot and Amanda, a divorced, “smart-set” couple who had fought like cat and dog for the entire meteoric duration of their marriage, have each remarried. By an amazing coincidence, they find themselves on their respective wedding nights with their respective new spouses in the same hotel, in adjacent honeymoon suites, sharing a single balcony.
