An eclectic group of art galleries has been invited to participate in the Holiday Art Walk, to be held Saturday, December 2nd from 11am-5pm. The event is free and open to all ages. The annual event, produced by Kathy Reddy White of Circa Arts Gallery, is designed to draw the community downtown to discover many art galleries and organizations in the Colfax Ave and Lincoln Way West Arts corridors of South Bend. "The Holiday Art Walk is the best way for our community to find that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift made by artisans of every discipline." This year, Reddy White is including local authors and book illustrators to sign their work at her gallery, which features over 60 local artists. Other galleries and arts related organizations include: Fire Arts, Inc. – Unique gifts for yourself and all the nice people on your list - and clever lumps of 'coal' for the naughty ones. Prices as low as $5.00. Piser Designs – Hand crafted custom furniture South Bend Regional Museum of Art – Unique works of art by faculty and staff Spurious Fugitive, LLC – December exhibition featuring the new works by select gallery artists and friends Studio Arts Center: Gallery 805. Studio 807 and Studio 815. "This year is an exciting one for both arts corridors; the East Bank Village shops and restaurants will be offering coupons and specials. The East Bank Village will also have colorful outdoor banners to welcome visitors. The Lincoln Way West Corridor is expanding to include Studio 815. It's a great time to be downtown," says Reddy White.
