The African-American Art Association is reaching out to showcase the diversity of artistic talent in our community. Their first annual invitational art show features nineteen artists working in a wide variety of media, including painting, printmaking, photography, holograms, functional art, and sculpture. The show opens with a reception on Friday, August 4th, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Artist Ramiro Rodriguez will give an artist talk during the reception at 8:00 p.m. Artists exhibiting include: Joan Addison, Richard Allen, Michael Bernaro, Joe Casey, Sanders Elliott, Erin Jackson, Angel Knight, Earl Logan, Jesus Lopez, Maisha Mackey, Jamila Martin, Ramiro Rodriguez, Robert Seifert, Marcus Snowden, Jake Webster, LaToya West, and Kay Westhues.
