The innovative Percussion Group Cincinnati (PGC) has recorded and performed throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. "Impossible to over praise," glowed the New York Times. Joe Kernan has served as our mayor from 1987-96 and Governor from 2003-2005. His military service is well-documented and includes a Purple Heart. Plus, the Notre Dame Glee Club, Saint Mary's College Women's Choir and the Notre Dame Marching Band brass section. Program selections include: Schuman's New England Triptych, Peck's The Glory and the Grandeur, Copland's Lincoln Portrait, Dvorák's Symphony No. 9 from The New World and Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
