FESTIVALS & SPECIAL EVENTS

Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival
August 10-August 13, 2006
Add Review/Comment386 exhibitors from around the country surround the Amish Acres pond to apply their trade and sell their wares at the nationally recognized Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival, celebrating its 44th anniversary. $10,000 in cash prizes, children's entertainment tent and much more have earned the festival special recognition and top honors. The American Bus Association has named Amish Acres Festival as a Top 100 Event in North America for 2006. Live entertainment on three stages throughout the day includes country bands, magicians, and square dancing. Festival foods are a very important part of the four day event featuring everything from shoofly pie to pulled pork sandwiches. "The family atmosphere and everything that it takes to feed, entertain, and inspire remains the goal of each year's edition of the festival," says Richard Pletcher Founder and CEO of Amish Acres and the Arts & Crafts Festival. Free parking is available. Pets are not allowed on festival grounds.
