The Heartland Artists Gallery is pleased to announce their May 2010 Small Wonders Art Show. Mark these important dates on your calendar and plan on joining the festivities at the reception on Friday, May 14th. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Postmarked before Saturday, April 24th RECEIVE ENTRIES: Saturday, May 1st, 8 AM - 5 PM and Sunday, May 2nd, 12 - 5 PM SHOW RECEPTION: Friday, May 14th, 6 - 8 PM (Awards presented at 7 PM) GALLERY HOURS: Wednesday - Friday, 12 - 5 PM and Saturday, 9 AM - 2 PM PICK UP WORK: Saturday, May 29th, 9 AM - 5 PM and Sunday, May 30th, 12 - 5 PM ENTRY FEE: $10.00 per entry. AWARDS: All eligible entries will be displayed. A qualified judge with a background in art will select a Best of Show ($100), 1st ($75), 2nd ($50), and 3rd ($50) place winners. A People's Choice Award ($25) will be presented at the end of the show ELIGIBILITY: Open to artists in all mediums. Only original works by the artist will be acceptable. If you have a question about whether a medium is acceptable, please call or email the gallery. SIZES: Outside frame dimensions on 2D work up to 12"x12" (maximum). 3D work up to 12"x12"x12" (maximum), including base or pedestal. Note: If a pedestal is provided the total dimension including the pedestal may not exceed 12"x12"x12". PRESENTATION: Works may be entered framed or unframed and ready for hanging by a wire hanging system.
