Her show will feature landscapes from Fernwood, Dahlias from the Bonneville Mill Dahlia Show and flowers from the Michiana area.  She started her art career using oils, but began to notice the beauty and freedom of watercolor.  She has been painting since 1994 and has studied with notable artists such as G Bruce Johnson.  Laurie has done commission work, won awards in juried shows and held one woman shows in Michigan and Indiana.  She paints full time in her home studio.
