It will also showcase the first trailer for the film from which the scene was taken.”=0D=0A=Reflections - Amber Poff, Pre-Art Therapy Major=0D=0A=“The eight pieces in the show are oil on masonite. Artistically, they are a stylistic breakthrough for me — reconciliation between subject matter, meaning and aesthetic value that I've been chasing for four years. I feel that the interpretation of artwork should be left to the viewers; however, as psychology is a huge component to this show and the pieces, I will offer some insight into the work. I was inspired by the transient nature of personality. For me, these paintings are representative of the abstract, intangible qualities that make up a person — the qualities that aren't always clear and, like a bubble, can't be nailed to a wall. The backgrounds are left mostly dark with some sweeping color — much as person hood remains mostly a mystery to those we relate with, only occasionally catching glimpses of the vibrance that makes us each unique.”=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:Gallery Hours: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
