  April 19 premier of the South Bend Community Monologues\, a production fe
 aturing locally written monologues about women’s lives.  This theatrical
  event is a collaboration of Saint Mary’s College and IU South Bend\, an
 d features selected pieces from each campus’s original Monologues. This 
 production was inspired by the 10-year old V-Day movement combating violen
 ce against women that was initiated by Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues.  
 The South Bend Community Monologues will educate\, entertain\, and raise m
 oney for the YWCA of St. Joseph County and SOS of the Madison Center\, loc
 al organizations working to stop violence against women and children. \n 
 \nSome of the monologues are tender and moving. Some are amusing. Some are
  inspiring. Others are heart wrenching. Each monologue is written anonymou
 sly by a member of our own community\, and performed by another local woma
 n.  We hope you can come to support our local women in this courageous end
 eavor to address issues neglected for far too long.  The goal of the produ
 ction is to Break the Silence to End the Violence! \n\nStart time: Saturda
